Not sure what to say?

Pete was a great friend and listener, as well as a fantastic musician to say the least - I will always remember our times at the beach, bbqs, and jam sessions - Steph, Sage and Pete adopted me as one of their own for a summer and I will never be able to convey my gratitude. Love you all and thinking of you

Dear Yevak Family, What sad news I received today of the passing of Petie! We were of the original Woodrow Wilson class that graduated in 1967. May fond memories of pool parties and good times at NNHS. So sad for the loss of his sweet spirit. Your family is in my prayers~Grace

Dear Karen, Shannon & Tommy, I wish I had been there with you for Petie's life celebration. Had it not been for the fact that my children were flying in from Los Angeles and Minneapolis, I would have been there with Connie, George, and Bobby. I would have told you of the countless times I would walk in my house and find Petie in bed with my mother watching TV. How she adored him! I would have told you that he was the first one to jump into my pool before it was even finished. I would have...

Karen,I am blessed to have shared my classroom, students and two years of my teaching career with Mr. Yevak as an AVID Tutor at Menchville High School. I will always appreciate his willingness to do what was needed to make our students successful. Always smiling, pleasant and eager to add his insight when we discussed current events. I will never forget him sitting and watching the students play board games, even participating in Taboo. Hilarious! On behalf of Mrs. Sharon Moore and the AVID...

To The Family of Petie,

My love and condolences go out to each of you. Have known Petie since our days at NNHS and was so blessed to reconnect with him occasionally throughout the years; the last time being just over a year ago. His sweet spirit, sense of humor and beautiful smile will be remembered always.

Karen and Family, I got to know Petie through the AVID Program while I was teaching at Washington Middle School. He was a great tutor and really enjoyed working with the sixth graders. We used to talk about our families and the old days at NNHS. He was a kind man. I am praying for your family during this time.

my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult

To Petie's family this is sent with love and fond memories of Grandview in particular. Petie was such a mild mannered gentleman and always ready for conversation. Please remember that he will be missed. It is just hard to believe that he is gone.
Thank goodness for a big family and yours was a good one! My parents were such dear friends of your parents. Love to you all!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I just talked with Petie at our class reunion dinner at the Crab Shack and he looked wonderful. I know this is a really difficult time. Please know that your family are in our prayers.
