I would like to say I was but 10 years old when the song came out and it was at a sad time in my life my older brother was leaving home and we were all sad and when he got on the bus this song was playing!

Thank you Mr Phillip for an incredible song that I grew up listening to snd loving. Our small dances put on by the local churches always had this song as one of the favorites. I can see my mother While growing up in port Arthur doing her ironing while us kids play records. Yours and fats dominos walking to New Orleans kicked her up a notch on dancing around the ironing board. Great memories to go with a great song. Many thanks for Sharing your incredible talent.
