Not sure what to say?

Dear Nicole, Glenn, Mark, and Family,
Our hearts are with you today as you commemorate the 1st year anniversary of your father's death. This time has gone so fast. It seems just yesterday we were visiting him in the VA Hospital, where he was multi-tasking with phone calls, warm greetings, and jokes. We look forward to seeing some of you at the Sunday concert--a fitting tribute.
Fondly, Deveda & Ernest

I have worked with Dr. Alper on medical causes and medical cases many years ago and always admired his intellect and his humanity. He and I would meet at medical meetings or at medical events and renew discussions effortlessly. I am saddened to hear of his passing and will miss his wicked humor.

I was Dr. Philip Alper's Medical Assistant, although i only knew him for a short time he was loved and adorded by all his patients. Dr. Alper was a kind man with an amazing sense of humor. He will be deeply missed and forever apart of my learning experience. Overall he was a brillant MD.

I worked with Phil at Stanford and had many long conversations with him about the problems of the the American health care system. I never failed to learn from him, and I enjoyed his great sense of humor. I'll miss him dearly.

Dr Alper was my personal physician for over 15 years and I attribute my good health to his sound advice. I will remember him always as my doctor and my friend. Bob Bialon, San Bruno, CA

I meet Philip during a trip to Sonora wineries with the Medical Friends of Wine. We had a great time on the bus talking about wine and medical politics. I was so sorry to hear of his passing.

Dr. Alper was a kind, caring, man. When I had a panic attack in his office, he made sure that I was settled and ready to face the world before he let me go. He pretended that I needed further exams, and lots of talk. I will never forget him.

My heart goes out to Dr. Alper's family. He always treated me with the utmost respect. He will be greatly missed.
