Not sure what to say?

Back in the early and mid-seventies I worked as a Masseur for the Fort Orange Club in Albany. Me. Battaglia was a regular to the health club and I always enjoyed his company. His business partner Vince Rinella had a summer home near ours in Sacandaga Park. The fun years. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Phil was an original. Fewer and fewer are being made.

To the Battaglia Family--on behalf of the Kevin Clemente Family I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to all of you on the death of your Dad! May the memories you hold in your heart give you peace during this difficult time. With Sympathy, Patty Clemente-Hull

I will miss seeing Phil at Amo La Bella's. He was always so kind to me and he always had a great story to share. Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength.

Phil was the most amazing man and friend that anyone could ever have and wished for and my family loved him. When we think of Phil we will always smile. We will miss his peaceful way and wonderful times together he will truly be missed. God bless you dear friend and Rest In Peace. With love Sal, Annette, Gynine, Mary Jo and Lisa

I am so saddened for everyone that he has passed away. We are all going to miss him beyond words! He was always so funny and he always made me laugh. As the years would go by when I was getting a little older he said " please do not call me Mr. Battaglia " and I said how about Philly and he thought that was endearing,
seeing that I was Staci's Friend, he has a special place in my heart. I am going to miss giving him big hugs and kisses. Love you, Philly
may you Rest In Peace.

Phil was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor.
He was also very kind and thoughtful and I always enjoyed my time with him.
My condolences to all the Battaglia's for your loss.

Gone From My Sight
By Henry Van Dyke

I am standing upon the seashore.

A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white...

Dear Mary Jo & Ray, Tony, Stacy and extended Battaglia family,

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father and grandfather. He was a wonderful man that was quick to offer a contagious smile and warm handshake. He was a fixture at the Roost and it is a blessing that he is at peace after a tough battle. He will certainly be missed and I am sure he is enjoying his first tee shot on the course of Heaven.

To truly appreciate what a great man your dad was one only had to spend a short time in his company. Perferably on the golf course with Mr. Scaringe and my father. You couldn't help but smile when he was around.
