Not sure what to say?

Phil was one of the best soldiers I have ever had the pleasure and honor of serving with. As his roomate for a short time, Phil and I discussed many aspects of life and it was evident that he knew more about life than most his age. His legacy will remain eternally set in the hearts and minds of all of us who served with him in Iraq. Phil, you are in a better place now,and I know you are still setting the standard for excellence. We love you and good luck. We will miss you.

Jan,
Even though I never met Phil I know how much y'all were worried about him when he was in Irag. His death is a surprise and shock to all the students and teachers at Brighton. I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathies to you and let you know that I will be here for you no matter what.

Jan and Amy,
I am so sorry for your loss. Phillip was always the spunky little brother wanting to be apart of what we were up to. My heart goes out to Jan for the loss of a child, take care of yourself and my thoughts are with you. Amy, I love you and am here for you and your every need! Take care.
Much Love!

Marc & Jan,
We want to send you our sincerest sympathies. We know how your heart aches for the loss of your precious son as we have lost two sons in the last three years. How proud you must be of him for the sacrifice he made for all of us. Please know of our love for you.

Marcus -

At work today, Janice mentioned that your son had passed away. I just want you to know that my thoughts are prayers are with you and your family at this hard time.

I didn't know your son, but from reading his obituary it seems he had accomplished many things, and had lots of talent and filled his time with worthwhile things. Keep the good memories alive.

God bless you and your family.

Dear Family,
My heart aches for you all as you go though this time. You are on day 8. I also lost my son last summer, during his Basic Training in Ft. Jackson S.C. I know the pride you all feel for Philip and his sacrifice he was willing to do for his country. I also know the pain in your heart and soul. I can't tell you it will get better right now, it still hurts. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Long Lost Brother,

Even though I knew you for many years, it feels like it was cut short far too early. We went from X-Men to Metalheads and back. You'll be in my thoughts every time I pick up a guitar or hear a Korn song. If there is a hereafter, watch over me. Thanks for being my friend.

Yours truly,

Colin Dennis Campbell

I am so sad and sorry to hear about Phil. We knew each other in high school on the swim team and just at school. He was an amazing person. He will definantly be missed.

Marcus --

John told me today of the loss of your son. I was so sad to hear the news, and want you to know how much we all love you and share in your sorrow at Philip's death. I know how much you loved him. The comfort will come, but not always as soon as we hope. Be patient with the timetable as it unfolds, and savor all the lessons along the way, for they are many and sweet for parents who bury their children too soon. That's a promise from those who know and who love you all....
