Not sure what to say?

Thank you, Dr. Dillard, for the good times that you sponsored for our small Deaf Community in Las Cruces. And also, very heartfelt thanks for the two kittens that you bestowed to me. As you, the little cats brought happiness and cherished memories to my life. Heartfelt thanks and forever memories.

Another connection to Dr. Dillard were through my unforgettable cats - July and Tampa, adopted from him. They were very dear, and impossible to forget that Dr. Phil Dillard adopted them out to me. Small events, perhaps, for many, but cherished memories for a lifetime. Thank you Dr. Phil Dillard & family for so many fond, lovely and wonderful memories!

Dr. Phil Dillard was a professor of ASL at NMSU in the 1970's was an enthusiastic and kind supporter of the Las Cruces deaf community. He opened his home to ASL classes and the deaf community for social and movies that were subtitled for the deaf. Those were the days "captioned movies" for the deaf. Thank you Dr. Dillard for your kindness and efforts in helping deaf people to fell a part of, and to join the world at large. Go with God, my friend.
