I am shocked and so sad! I have been meaning to call Phil the past few days and now I know why he has been on my mind. What a great friend and neighbor Phil was. I will miss his always positive attitude!!

Condolences to the family

My condolences to his family. Phil was a great mentor in my life and we shared many memories together. He was a great competitor in the plumbing supply business. I shall miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend.

Phil was a giant among men. As a teenager I worked for Phil at DPS and later went to work for myself. I remember Mr Edelstein as a kinder, gentler man who had a caring side as was willing to impart business advice to a young guy looking to break into business. Rest In Peace Phil, condolences to his family.

My late husband Bernie Rey would come home My My My late husband Bernie Rey, would come home laughing from a golf game with Phil and Manny . Bernie stated "Phil was one great guy". Phil also made the best roast beef sandwiches. Phil, May you Rest In Peace. Sandie Rey.

With thoughts and prayers to Phil's family on the loss of a terrific guy and great businessman. He was well respected by my father Jack and all of us at The Otto Company. May his memory be eternal.
