Philip Gagliardi Obituary
Philip, 85 of River Vale, NJ passed away on July 31, 2015. Born in New York City, NY, Philip formerly lived in New York City and Dumont, NJ before moving to River Vale 20 years ago. Philip proudly served his country during the Korean War in the US Army. He was employed prior to his retirement as a security officer for 30 years at the United Nations in NYC, NY. He was predeceased by his brother, Dominick Gagliardi and is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Dorothea (Rossi) Gagliardi; his step-sons, James and Louis Pizzo; his step-daughter, Deborah DiBari; his three grandchildren and one great-grandson as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Tuesday 10 AM with a 11 AM funeral mass at St. Pius X, Church in Old Tappan, NJ. A private cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Letters of condolences can be sent to the family via the Becker Funeral Home website, www.becker-funeralhome.com.
