Not sure what to say?

I am sad to hear of Dr. Gattey´s passing. I worked in the OR with Dr. Gattey from the time he came to Moose Jaw until he left. He was a great surgeon who you could ask anything & get an answer that made sense! I was sorry to see him leave Moose Jaw but a solo orthopaedic practice would have been hectic. He left big shoes to fill. My condolences to all of his family. Rest in peace. Sincerely Marlene Ganyo

I moved to Dickinson, ND in 1995 and after a short period of time had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Gattey, a colleague in orthopedic surgery. We always seemed to have a connection and thought very similarly in how we treated orthopedic problems. I am deeply saddened and send prayers and condolences to his family. Gregg Kovacs DO

So very sad to hear about family friend & co-worker, Dr Phil Gattey. One special memory when I was in the clinic float pool & was traveling with Dr Gattey (before I really got to know him) & help with Ft Yates satellite clinic-I asked myself-what the heck are we going to talk about driving down & back? Needless to say, it was nonstop conversation on both commutes & he was so kind, compassionate, & caring with his patients. I saw this first hand when he did my Mom´s knee replacements & she...

I worked with Dr Gattey and he replaced my knee, will miss his humor and silly smile

Sorry to learn of Phil's passing. I remember about 11 yrs ago he was called in to the ER to set my son's broken arm in a cast. He was visiting his wife's grave at the time, and came in immediately- no questions, no hesitation. Such an amazing, selfless person and physician. He will be missed.

So grateful for the wonderful childhood memories with our Gattey cousins! The stories and antics are sure to live on and leave smiles. We offer love and comfort to his children and grandchildren and Dear Kevin and family. Hugs

Dr. Phil was my friend.

I didn't know Dr. Gattey personally, but he performed my knee replacement about 10myears ago and he was an excellent doctor. He will be missed.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. May he rest peacefully and may you all find peace knowing he and you Mom are together again.
