Not sure what to say?

I met Phil through his wife Mary at social occasions. I was immediately taken by his warmth and smile and eye contact. I knew of his brilliance from others and understood quickly his admiration, love and respect for his wife Mary. They were a real and enduring presence in the lives of many. That was a beautiful tribute Aunt Mary. He was also a wonderful uncle, and I have so many memories of him singing us funny songs when we were little. Love to all of you!

And all with a terrific sense of humor!

Phil had so much to give to the world. We will miss him, and send our sympathies to you, Mary, and your 3 children. With love, Sally and Steve

A fine gentleman and friend Bob and Gail Drewes

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful soul. The world is a poorer place without him, I will always treasure our friendship. My sympathy and love to Mary, Peter, Jon, and Laura, Judy Donahue

Mary, Laura, Pete and Jon: Phil was everything that was said in the obituary. As his widow and children, you have much to be proud of, and to embody in the remainder of your lives! He will be sorely missed by all who knew him! My condolences on your loss!

Bill and I will treasure the memory of this amazing man who delighted us with his stories and clever wit. He is greatly missed.
