To the Schwartz Family, You made your home and family a place where one (I in particular) could always feel welcome. No matter when I showed up, Phil's wit was waiting on the other side of the door. When I needed advice he gave me just enough to complete the picture for myself. He was a consummate teacher, eminently paternal, and always available. I will always be grateful for the time I had in your home, with your family and in the warmth of Phil's smile.

To The Entire Schwartz Family,
My deepest sympathies and warnest expression of condolences. Although I wasn't a Schwartz, you all made me feel like one of your own. The only verbal words Philip Schwartz ever spoke to me, were "..love you." His heart always said much more. He always had a great big smile for me and it was apparent he was a kind and gentle man. I could only have wished for a father like him. In his 90+ years, I am grateful to have known him that short time.
