To the Schwartz Family, You made your home and family a place where one (I in particular) could always feel welcome. No matter when I showed up, Phil's wit was waiting on the other side of the door. When I needed advice he gave me just enough to complete the picture for myself. He was a consummate teacher, eminently paternal, and always available. I will always be grateful for the time I had in your home, with your family and in the warmth of Phil's smile.

To The Entire Schwartz Family,
My deepest sympathies and warnest expression of condolences. Although I wasn't a Schwartz, you all made me feel like one of your own. The only verbal words Philip Schwartz ever spoke to me, were "..love you." His heart always said much more. He always had a great big smile for me and it was apparent he was a kind and gentle man. I could only have wished for a father like him. In his 90+ years, I am grateful to have known him that short time.

As usual, the Schwartz's really know how to throw "a show." The family with the usual suspects, Judy, Richie,Michael, Robert and Marilyn totally out did themselves only to be out done by the grandchildren...who were incredibly warm, wonderful and extremely articulate. Phil would have been so proud. (And is) I am honered to have been a part of this most fantastic and incredibly tremondous tribute to this most wonderful man.
Much love to the famuily,
MaryJane Uresse stone

Dearest Members of the Schwartz Family,
It is with fond and wonderful memories that I recall Phil. From breakfasts at the Long Beach breakfast table to the basement where, I think, "Willie Masconi" taught Michael and Judy to "run the table". Phil had a magical charm to deal with each of his children, all very diverse, with wisdom, fairness, sophistication and love. Phil, having grown up in your house, where Fran would holler for a "slice and a rainbow ice" from Gino's, I will always have wonderful memories and thoughts. Wishing you a Rest in Peace...I will always love and remember you with the best feelings.
Loving you,
MaryJane Uresse Stone
