To Philip`s mom,dad and sisters...there are really no words to adequately express the sadness I feel at Philip`s passing. It was such a shock as I`m sure it was to you as well. We had just spoken the day before about his "turning the corner"....well,for reasons unknown to us all,he turned a corner we certainly didn`t expect him to. I remember Philas he lived. That Phil was my friend and was such a great one at that.
I met Phil at the Advantage Program at Norwich. We were both going to be architects. He made me laugh when I met him. The nights we stayed up in studio, he found a way to make fun. That time we went to Canada, it was so awesome, that I will remember it always. The time that he dressed up as Zorro with a sombrero made of cardboard and a black cape. There is no way for me to understand your sorrow of Phillip's passing. I only know I will cherish the many moments of remembering him on the river whipping by in a tube, board or in his little speedboat.
