To Philip`s mom,dad and sisters...there are really no words to adequately express the sadness I feel at Philip`s passing. It was such a shock as I`m sure it was to you as well. We had just spoken the day before about his "turning the corner"....well,for reasons unknown to us all,he turned a corner we certainly didn`t expect him to. I`ll never forget Philip and his quiet strength and courage. He taught me alot about how to live life.... I`m so sorry I didn`t make it to Philip`s service;I really wanted to see you all. Philip will forever hold a place in the hearts of so many who knew him. He`ll never be forgotten. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers,Cindy

I remember Philas he lived. That Phil was my friend and was such a great one at that.
I met Phil at the Advantage Program at Norwich. We were both going to be architects. He made me laugh when I met him. The nights we stayed up in studio, he found a way to make fun. That time we went to Canada, it was so awesome, that I will remember it always. The time that he dressed up as Zorro with a sombrero made of cardboard and a black cape. It was the way Phil was, that made everything so great. Everyone I know, who matters to me, liked and cared about him.
I too morn for Phil. Our best friend and your son have died. In time we will remember him with a smile. For Phil often had a smile on his face and had such uncanny skill to make us laugh, that none of us will ever forget. He lives on in us, his life is as important if not more so than his death. I still believe we shall see him again in the next life, in a higher place.

There is no way for me to understand your sorrow of Phillip's passing. I only know I will cherish the many moments of remembering him on the river whipping by in a tube, board or in his little speedboat.
