Not sure what to say?

Twenty years later and you are still missed. Life has had its ups and downs and I wish you were still here. We all miss you man. Sending positive vibes to his friends and family.

You were the greatest guy anyone could have ever known. You're my best friend and you don't know how much I will miss you for the rest of my life. Let my prayers be with you and your family forever. I love you man.

Phil was one of the nicest and kindest people that I have ever known.

Winter Retreat 2003

Phil, we didn't always see eye to eye but you were always such a good friend. From the great conversations when we were "rolling" to when we were driving up to Duluth to see Heidi or driving down to Roseville to see Mels or Stef; you were always someone I could talk to. Reed and I have big shoes to fill at church. Don't worry about anything. We'll take care of things for you. You are and always will be a great friend, FOREVER. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory...

Phil became part of our rugby club when he first came to a Mounds View High School indoor rugby practice held in January or February of 2001 with his best friend. He was a great kid. He also loved being with us too and also loved learning about the Game. He had bright eyes and was eager to learn about rugby and be part of the team. He set a great example...

From boyscouts to middleschool to highschool to after highschool you were a great person to know. This past summer you and I became more friends and I can't believe this happened. You'll always be in everything around us, your orange hat, your Jeep, your smile, everything about you. I hope they're treating you good up in heaven. You're truely missed down here.

When I think of Phil, I think of the word “smile”….it seemed to be etched permanently on his face. It’s impossible to describe Phil in a few words or sentences, but would, instead, require a large book to capture all he was about. He was generous, caring and everyone loved him. I’ll forever cherish the fortunate memories working by Phil’s side, watching him teach adult computer classes, observing him instruct Sunday School, seeing him participate in youth trips and witnessing him serving the...

Phil was a great kid whos life ended way to soon. Everyone always new him with a smile on his face. He was one in a million at Mounds View. His family will be in our thoughts and prayters.

Dear Thompson Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy.I read the notice of your sons passing with tears of sorrow filling my eyes. Please know that many people truly care for all of you.Although most people can't understand the pain and shock that you are going through and they don't know what to say or do for you, It is obvious that Phil was loved by all who knew him. My family lost our beautiful son Alex age 18 in April of this year.I can tell you that Love is eternal and no one can...
