Phill was a very good friend to our family he worked with my dad at HEB in San Benito for many years. I will always remenber when he would take us to his backyard to feed the catfish. We would always go fishing at his pier in Arroya City. When my dad was very ill Phill came to visit dad which made him very happy they shared stories like they always did they were truly good friends. After my dad passed on Phill would always come visit when he would visit the valley. He will truly be missed.

I married into the family (Bill, son of Joe) and we still remember and laugh at the stories Dad and Uncle Johnny shared with us when their family got together. My condolences. I worked for him during High School before joining the Marines. He called me Shorty. One of the best Bosses I ever had. My condolences to you all.
