Phill was a very good friend to our family he worked with my dad at HEB in San Benito for many years. I will always remenber when he would take us to his backyard to feed the catfish. We would always go fishing at his pier in Arroya City. When my dad was very ill Phill came to visit dad which made him very happy they shared stories like they always did they were truly good friends. After my dad passed on Phill would always come visit when he would visit the valley. He will truly be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. When you are sad and feel lost without him, remember the good times, the jokes, and the laughter that reigns in the Zimmer family. I married into the family (Bill, son of Joe) and we still remember and laugh at the stories Dad and Uncle Johnny shared with us when their family got together. I had met Phil only a few times, but felt like I knew him well thru their stories. Celebrate his life and his love for you. Our prayers are with you.
