I also knew Phil from youth group at Cathedral of the Valley in Phoenix. When my sister, Nina, told me of his passing...it hit me so hard. I'm so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We went to the same church youth group in high school. We would hang out all the time and listen to music. He introduced me to Dokken. I've always thought of him when I would hear one of their songs.

He was such a dear friend, a real sweetheart.

My heart goes out to his family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Phil: You were so gracious to carry my Mom's casket at her funeral 6 years ago without even being asked. Thank you! My Mom and your grandmother were sisters and that was truly a kind jesture.

You fought so long and hard against the cancer and the unknown trama. The three long years you have fought has now come to a close. You are finally at peace! I cannot tell you how much you will be missed, but I think you always knew. God Bless you Phil!!!
