My Mom just called me and told me that Phil had passed away. My Mom and Dad (Will and Pauline Schuldt) were good friends with Phil and Shirley for many years. I worked for and with Phil at Amsco from 1975, when I joined the company, until 1988 when Phil retired from Amsco. Phil had great wit, intelligence and passion for Amsco and its' people. Phil was such a great guy. I remember feeling nervous coming up for my first board meeting. Phil was so welcoming. He made you feel so special when he spoke with you. The world would be a better place with more people like Phil. I'm grateful for the time I knew ya...Rest in Peace Phil!

Phil's long and consistent service to Smeal College is unmatched, in my view. A wonderful person.
