Not sure what to say?

I remember growing closer to Phyllis when she and Ed would host me either before or after my two-weeks of intensive study at Mundelein University in February and August for three years in the late 80's. After they both were retired and traveling the US in their motorhome, we had the privilege of some extended visits at our place in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Phyllis was always loving and I will always cherish my memories of my sweet sister-in-law.

Deepest sympathy to the entire Chase Family for your loss.

One of my favorite memories of Phyllis was an occurence that happened back when Ed and Phyllis lived at Fox Knoll, Ed was taken to McCauley Manor for a week or so (I don't recall the issue he was having). I picked up Phyllis to take her out to visit with Ed. Cindy Chase was there when we got there. My favorite memory of my grandma was when she cheated at Candy Land. My mom and I had gone back to visit her in a nursing home while she was rehabbing from her stroke. She had some trouble with her speech and physical strength, but she was still lucid and sharp. One day during our visit, after giving her a mani/pedi, we decided to play Candy Land. It was Grandma's turn, she picked up a few too many cards, looked through to see which one would move her along the furthest, and then put the rest...

"They lived their lives according to their faith." No truer words could be said about Ed and Phyllis. They were wonderful individuals and a dynamic duo as husband and wife, mother and father, and cherished grandparents. Our love goes out to the family.

Deanna, Brian and Cindy and family, Cindy and Mike and family, please accept our condolences as your mourn the passing of your Mom. She was the kindest, most loving and cheerful person and always had a smile. She and Ed loved our family and we loved them and gave such wonderful memories of holidays and Bible studies in their home. May the Lord comfort you all in the days ahead.

Deanna and family, I am very sorry for your loss, and praying that you will know God's mercy and peace at this time.

So very sorry for your loss, Brian. We hope you find peace in good memories.

Hello Brian, I'm so very sorry to hear your Mother passed away. Please except my sincere sympathies.
