Hope was best friends with my cousin Lois Lucas who lived in Pembroke VA. Hope lived across the bridge going towards Pearisburg. I would spend my summers with Lois. The three of us would drive to the Dairy Delite in Pearisburg at night and sit in the car with the radio playing and check out the guys driving through It was a wonderful summer experience for me, and I feel so fortunate that Hope was a part of all of it Norma Irwin
