Not sure what to say?

After all these years, today I am remembering Phyllis Huff. Great memories, good times, many laughs, and I still have the bird house she gave me years ago. Fond remembrances and blessings on this day to the family.

Malcolm, Eric and Andrew I am truly sorry to hear of your wife and mother's passing. Just remember: A life well-lived doesn't end any more than music ends - it echoes through time with whispers of beauty and grace and if we listen, we can hear the encore with our hearts - for the song plays on just as the 'love' lives on. God Bless You and Your Entire Family.

Malcolm, so sorry to hear of your loss. She is truly in good hands, and now watches over you and your family. The Watz family will remember Phyllis in our prayers.

To the Huff Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers will be with you during this sad time.

To the Huff Family,

Please accept my sincerest condolences and greatest sympathies on your loss...Mrs. Huff, as I knew her, left an amazing mark on my life. She was my SCORE teacher from 1977 to 1982, and upon my 'graduation' from E.W. Oliver Elementary School at 12 years of age, she presented me with a stone that she had had painted, ever so delicately, with a duckling on it. This duckling, as she told me, in some way, represented to her who I was as a child. This stone still...

To the Huff family,
We are truly sorry for the loss of your wife and the children's mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. If there is anything we can do please call on us. We are really sorry not to have been there for you. We are just finding out today and are truly so sorry. Steve & Allison Porter and family

Phyllis and I began teaching gifted education in Clayton Co. about the same time. What impressed me about Phyllis was her creative approach to teaching and her friendly outgoing approach to life. I've been gone from Clayton Co. for along time but still kept in touch with Phyllis at various state gifted ed. functions. Last year before she got sick we were at Jekyll Island together and took a lovely long walk on the beach...

Dear family,
When it comes to a teacher who was determined to make the best out of teaching her gifted students, there was no one better than Mrs. Huff. We had her for a teacher in elementary school at River's Edge in Clayton County; now we are in the 7th grade. Even though we felt we were kind of slow at learning, or just little "pains in the bottom" sometimes, she never gave up on us. She taught us that...

Phyllis' quiet patience, intelligence, dedication to teaching, and warmth will be greatly missed. I enjoyed having her as a colleague and friend these past 19 years.
