Not sure what to say?

I can´t believe she´s been gone this long. There´s so much she has missed! And more to come. It´s heartbreaking, still hurts as badly as ever, I miss you everyday, Phylly. Tina

Phyllis was a beloved cousin and a truly wonderful person. She is greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved her. May her memory forever be a blessing.

Dear Mark and family, I was thinking of Phyllis the other day, googled her name, and sadly learned of her passing. I supervised her teaching in Downers Grove, more like co-taught with her, at the end of her studies at UWM. My late wife, Ann, and I lived a couple of blocks from your condo in Lincoln Park in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Phyllis was a thoughtful, caring, and witty person, teacher, and friend. I can only imagine what a great counselor she was. I extend my deep condolences to...

Mark, Josh and Jon: I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you find comfort in all of the wonderful memories you have of her. You are all in my thoughts.

My memories of Phyllis are so numerous and all cherished. She was the most dedicated and loyal wife, mother and friend. What a marvelous gal - I will miss her so much! Mark, you were so wonderful to her and in the end you did everything right, always doing what was best for her. I know how wide the void will be for you, Josh and Jon so may you all find peace in all of your memories of her. She was the best.

Dear Mark...Josh and Jonathan....it was such a shock to read of Phyllis´s passing...we have not connected for a few years....but when we did time seemed to not have moved on....our history was filled with special moments...laughter... sadness,....sharing highlights and grief as we grew .....caring and understanding....I am so terribly sad for all of you...I in Arizona so will not join you in physical presence....but my heart is with you all!!! Dear Mark and family, I went to Warren and Bowen with Phyllis. We were good friends . Of course I knew Mel and her mother , who sometimes drove us to Bowen in winter weather. Phyllis and I shared many laughs, especially in 8th grade. We were both active in Akovah BBG and all the social activities girls did then. Come our 50th Bowen reunion, we re- connected as if those years were yesterday- having much in common being clinical social workers while raising two sons. I´m so sad to hear of her...

Our heartfelt condolences to Mark and the family. Our fondest memory was running into Phyliss in a local restaurant when we first moved to Valparaiso where we knew no one. She was happy to reconnect and recruit us to join Temple Israel for which she and Mark were dedicated members. She will be greatly missed.

Our sadness and sympathy doesn't even begin to touch the depth of your loss. Leah and I reminisce of our times with you and Phyllis with great fondness and joy. We remember and speak of Phyllis as a blessing. Leah and Jeff Cohen
