Not sure what to say?

Our family truly loved Phyllis, and she was such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, "great-nana" and friend. She touched our lives in such a special way, always knowing exactly what each of us was interested in and steering conversations to those things. We simply adored her, and will miss our visits here in Springfield, MO.

Passing along sincerest sympathy. Oh how I recall Phyllis being an amazing volunteer at CHI St Francis. A beautiful personality and smile indeed, lifting moods of others! Thinking of her family at this time, Christy Sullivan Former Mgr of Volunteer Services CHI St Francis

Sending loads of love to your family! Your mom and dad were awesome! They raised outstanding kids who will carry on their legacy!

I´m so sorry for your loss! The end of an era for the coffee ladies of 21st Street. May they all be together having coffee and watching over us! Janet (Dowd) Warner!!!

I am very sad to read about the passing of your mom. I have so many fond memories of her. Both of your parents gave so much to all kids in the Grand Island Public Schools. I will never forget her smile, positive attitude, our phone calls checking on one another, and seeing her and her friends in the Islander stands supporting our athletes and fine arts students. Thoughts and prayers for all of you. Memories will last forever.

She was a special person in my life and will be missed. Andy Russell
