Our family truly loved Phyllis, and she was such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, "great-nana" and friend. She touched our lives in such a special way, always knowing exactly what each of us was interested in and steering conversations to those things. We simply adored her, and will miss our visits here in Springfield, MO.

I am very sad to read about the passing of your mom. I have so many fond memories of her. Both of your parents gave so much to all kids in the Grand Island Public Schools.
I will never forget her smile, positive attitude, our phone calls checking on one another, and seeing her and her friends in the Islander stands supporting our athletes and fine arts students.
Thoughts and prayers for all of you. Memories will last forever.
