Prior to legislation that passed allowing independent practice, Phyllis was part of my Clincial Nurse Specialist Supervision group for the past few years only stopping inthe COVID years. Rest in peace, dear Phyllis. It was an honor to have known you as someone whose achievements in our nursing profession, were truly admirable.

Phyllis was a tireless champion of mental health care for many populations of patients as well as the Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse Role. She contributed up to the end was admired for both her work ethic and dedication to her patients. She worked with us at MAAPPN and supported our mission - we are so sad to see of her passing and send our deepest regrets to her family and friends as well as many thoughts celebrating her life (both clinical and personal)!

Phyllis was a member of the Living Legends Awards Committee of ANA Mass since its inception over 20 yrs. ago. Phyllis was an asset to the committee & helped it grow over the years. Phyllis contributed much to the profession of nursing. More importantly Phyllis was a great, nurse, friend & colleague. My thoughts & prayers are with the Phyllis's family & friends. I remember Doctor Moore from my student days at Simmons (College) University in the school of nursing. She was so easy to talk with, and made me feel that she was invested in my success in nursing. I am still a nurse after 44 years!
