I met Phyllis for the first time when I was about 4 years old in the early 1970's on a camping holiday in Hastings. Phyllis, Walter and Douglass made a little boy (me) very welcome and a friendship, albeit a distant friendship between my family and the Pigott family came from this holiday. This lasted over five decades. Phyllis, Walter and Douglass were keen caravaners and we met up many times with the caravans at various camp sites. Over the years...
