Not sure what to say?

Steve, Dona, Dee-Dee and Stevie,
Phyl was such a wonderful neighbor and friend. Our adventures around Ohio and Michigan give me fond memories. So much of the Columbus area was introduced to me by Phyl--she knew all the great things to see and to visit. I miss her. She was so very proud of her family. I know you all honor her life, her graciousness, and her sense of humor. My deepest sympathy.

Steve,Dona andfamily,
What a wonderful lady your Mom was. She and I had some great times traveling and visiting here at the beach. We will miss her. Our prayers are with you all at this . Love, Rita and Hal

I'm smiling as I write this, because even though my sister and I didn't discuss this, I see that she has also left condolences for one of our favorite teachers of all time, Mrs. Rapier! While I don't remember all of my teachers, I could never forget her -- she was an absolute joy to have as a teacher and all of her students loved her. And that's saying a lot for 5th graders!! :) A great teacher and the epitome of patience and grace.

I so enjoyed knowing Phyllis. She was a wonderful hostess and delighted in showing off her beautiful Christmas trees during the holidays.

I have so many fond memories of my 5th grade teacher at Beaumont! And 30 years later, in 1997, we ran into each other at Oakland Nursery and had a lovely conversation...we remembered each other instantly. Wow, she certainly had her hands full with the 5th grade versions of Gloria, Amy, and I. Bless her, she cared enough to phone my parents when I wasn't my, um, best self.

Such a lovely woman.

Just wanted to send my sincere condolences to Mrs. Rapier's family. She was my 5th grade teacher at Beaumont Elementary. She was a great teacher and instilled fond memories in her students for many years to come. Even after I left the school, I stopped by there occasionally to see how she was doing. Sincere sympathy.
