Not sure what to say?

A blessing to have know Phyllis from my childhood on. Loving memories of our connection to Macedonia Baptist Church under Paster Rev. B.L.Brantley and the Boyer and Carson family. Holding family in my prayers.

happy birthday, Mom! furaha ya kuzaliwa!

Sista Rose, My dear friend. I just discovered today that the Lord had called you home. Over the years I've thought of you often and cherished your friendship. Sista Rose touched the lives of so many people. The community was better in so many ways because of her giving and selfless personality. May God continue to bless your son Macharia Hamadi, your grandson Elys and your brother Warren during this difficult time and for all the time to come.

My condolences to the Rose Family.

Sista Rose,it has taken some time for me to grapple with your transition. To me, you were my Earthly Angel & Mentor.Indeed, you were a Master Educator & a kind, intelligent soul. You nourished me in times of professional need, and soothed me during personal challenges.

It was in your classroom at Johnson Park,as your substitute teacher for a day, that my career with CPS began. I was never treated so well by a room full of young people,and...

On behalf of the Rogers family we extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family. Phyllis was a very dear life long friend particularly to Jeannie and me.

We love you and are praying for you.

Thanks to all of you who supported us at this time of sorrow. Your support and presence transformed this into an experience of joy as we focused on the life Phyllis lived and how she impacted so many other lives. The support you provided to Hamadi was wonderful, and needed. He planned two spectacular services for his mother, and did a great job of it, with your help. You were all great.

The drummers, the dancers, the singers, and the recorded music inspired and uplifted me. ...

To my dear step brother Hamadi, I lOVE YOU for the giant talent you offer this world as I live my final stage four terminal cancer days, I fondly treasure the time you have made for me this last year....on to your next glory. Carol R. Gibson

I had the pleasure of interacting with Phyllis at several Ohio Wesleyan functions. I will always remember her engaging smile and the spiritual warmth that eminated from her.

We will greatly miss our dear OWU sister, Phyllis. What a lovely, dedicated person. It is comforting to know that she is with the Lord. Dear family members, may the love of Jesus be your solace forever.
