Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the family.

What a delightful soul she was - I think she would like this Basho haiku-

The temple bell stops
But the sound keeps coming
Out of the flowers

I am sure that her family and friends will be hearing it always.
Barbara Attwell (Ritter)

Many things relate back to music with me.
I spent countless hours laughing with Polly at Stephanie Tipps' house in Houston, wearing out, Woodstock and James Taylor, Sweet Baby James.
I would run in to Polly from time to time in Round Top.
She was indeed a beautiful, sweet soul that will be missed on this earth.
My prayers to my life-long friend Stevo Barnes and family.

Polly was an inspiration for me - as a writer, a mother, a friend, and a bright light on the planet. I am deeply saddened to learn of her passing.

I know Polly is here with us now guarding, watching, loving and, probably, organizing things for us all. She lives on in my heart and in her beautiful daughters, Clare and Chloe, who I have never had the the good fortune to meet but know must be amazing young women. My thoughts and prayers are will you all.

I have such wonderful memories of Polly, filled with fun and laughter.
It was so good to visit with her at Laura and Randon's wedding party.
Polly was one of those special people that you learn so much from.
I will miss her.

I have to echo what Garrett said in that Polly was one of the sweetest people you might be fortunate enough to meet and a member of one of the kindest families in Houston Texas. Words fall short at a time like this but please accept my symphathy - I will always remember being a little girl and a teenager, bounding back and forth between the Cherokee house, the North Blvd. house and the ever so much fun Anderson house on Milford. There were four fast friends who started life together - God...

As a friend, I will always remember the twinkle in her eyes, lilt to her voice, and a smile that said she was sincerely glad to see you. Polly had an incredible grace, a unique charm, and the ability to always lift the sprit of anyone lucky enough to know her. She will be missed.
