I taught with Mrs. Jones at Sequoyah before she retired. She was a lovely lady and I am better for knowing her. Cheryl

Mrs. Jones was my English teacher at Sequoyah High School in Doraville, Georgia. She was the greatest influence in my life, as well as, so many others within our community. The encouragement she gave to me for writing is still deep within my soul. I am finally writing that story, she told me I would write about my life when the time was right. I understand your loss, however her memories will live forever in the hearts and soul of all who crossed her path, especially mine.

I would like the family of mrs. polly jones to know I was honoured to have mrs jones for my english teacher at sequoyah high school, doraville, ga. mrs jones was a wonderful teacher. also, on a personal note, mrs jones was tall like I am, however in high school being tall was hard for me. well, mrs jones, who was elegantly tall herself, would tell me to stand up straight and be proud to be tall. her kind, encouraging words have been with me for 40 years.
