Not sure what to say?

Dear Kat and Dylan,

I, too, went to Columbia High School with Brad. I just learned today of his passing. That the Bright Light that was Brad is no longer here with us saddens my heart.

In reading the column online, it's so wonderful to know that he never lost that sense of adventure and joy. We were in Drama Club together, and Brad ALWAYS kept us laughing! I never saw him have a down moment! Always jolly, Always happy and usually up to some kind of friendly...

I personally did not know Brad, but my son went to his celebration of life, Praise God, for Jesus, as He has given through Brad's family and funeral, a new out look on funerals.
May God Bless his family until they meet with Brad in heaven. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Brad meant so much to so many. Always giving, always smiling, and his love for his family shined in everything he did. We will miss you. My love to Kat and Dylan. May our Father wrap his loving arms around you and give you peace and many wonderful memeories to cherish.

I grew up with Brad at Martha Brown United Methodist Church in Atlanta. He was always the nicest and funniest guy - one that everyone loved. I've kept up with his work over the years and am so saddened by his death. My prayers are with you. Melinda Freeman Sileo

Kat, you and Dylan are in my thoughts and prayers. Alice

Brad, you will be so missed. Thank you for giving so much of yourself, and touching so many lives. And thank you for being such a warm, loving father & husband to Kat & Dylan

Katherine and Dylan,
I would like to share two verses that have given me comfort in times of grief:

Those who believe in Me, even though they die will live.
John 11:25

Prehaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost one pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God's Peace,

Hyla Felder-Lee...

The world will miss you Brad. You were a kind, thoughtful, and loving person.

Katherine,

Brad told me once that he planned on marrying you in all 50 of the US states. As I think of this , I think of the great love he had for you.

I remember the beautiful pearls he gave you on your anniversary, and although you guys spent part of it with us, there was no doubt you were the only person in the room.

I loved Brad, he was my confidant in troubled times, and I appreciated that we were so often on the same page!

I am...
