Not sure what to say?

Hello to Pam, Julia and Sarah, I was very saddened to read the obituary of Dave, your husband and father. I was looking to find and address for your family ( and if you still resided near the Danforth) and saw it. Please accept my late condolences and know that Dave impressed me as a man of integrity and he was wonderful father to Julia and Sarah when I knew you all those years ago. I remember being very polite, helpful and congenial. I remember the four of you at my wedding. I am at the...

I only knew him through his lovely family. On those occasions, I knew him as a caring man with a warm smile. My sincere condolences to David's family and friends.

David, Jim and I played touch football most afternoons in the parking lot behind the Muir's house in Cornwall while Jim and I were in High School. So sorry to read about Dave who borrowed my drawing set when he entered engineering at university.
Would love to hear from Jim as would Ranald Quail our mutual friend and classmate in Cornwall. Ran went on to become Deputy Minister in Ottawa.

The Muirs have been congenial neighbours for almost 30 years. Our condolences are offered to Pam and the girls. Sad times abound. Better days ahead. John and Jill. #14.

Pammy, many of my fondest summer memories have Mad Dog in them. For all those years at 8 Mile Point he was always there, carrying that grin of his. I will be there on the 5th to share those memories with all the others that loved him too. My condolences to and your wonderful daughters.

I worked with Dave at Rio Algom from 1977
to 1986 and then kept in touch from a new job at Highland Valley Copper in Vancouver until ~ 2002.

He was a good colleague, business traveler, . . . . mentor, . . .

Many fond memories with Dave & Jim at Stone House Point, and skiing in St. Sauveur.
It was the treat of the skiing season to be with Dave to open our 'house' in Sauveur and celebrate at the local watering hole. A quiet & great guy.
Our sympathies to Dave's family.
