Raisa Oborkovsky born in Ukraine, January 10, 1930, passed away on March 18, 2014, at Parkwood Hospital. Beloved wife of (the late) Savely Gabrielovich and daughter of (the late) Efrosinia and Michael Koval. Loving Mother/Mamotchka of Nina and her husband Dean Rauchwerger of Chicago and Volodymyr Oborkovsky and his wife Judy, of Windsor. Cherished Grandmother / Babysia of Anthony Abbinanti (Sanam), Nicholas and Natalya Oborkovsky. Dear Sister / Sestra to Zina and her husband Bill Dow. Sweet Aunt / Tyotya Raya to her special nephew Michael (Megan) Dow and her favorite nieces Anya (Eric) Bernard and Emily (Jurgen) Petrenko and her great nieces Zoe and Isabelle and great-nephew Noah. Many loving memories of her beautiful embroidery, gardening, wonderful cooking and out-of-this-world baking. We will always remember her delicious Ukrainian Borscht. She will be cherished for her sweet nature, loving spirit and generous heart. We feel blessed and will always be grateful for the many life lessons she taught us. We miss her dearly and she will stay forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at the Needham Funeral Home (520 Dundas St., London) on Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with Panahyda to be held at 7 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday March 22, 2014 at 10 am in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church (151 King Edward Ave., London) with Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
