Not sure what to say?

I've only known Raleigh for a few years, but I am so grateful for the interactions we had. He is a kind Man that has always made me feel welcome in your family. I will always remember his love for the gospel of Jesus Christ and his unbridled nature to share the gospel with strangers. Thank you Grant, Garrett, Ginger and Gina for your testimonies. I left the service feeling a renewed desire to live the teachings of the gospel. I'll miss you Raleigh, thank you for your incredible example of...

As Grant said, Thank you all so much for the messages about our Dad. I am really struggling today. We miss him so much. Visited the Hill Aerospace Museum just to feel close to him and his passion for aviation. So many things I want to talk to him about. I miss his calls late at night to help him find the remote control. I miss his shouts to close the bathroom door when the swamp cooler is on to let the air circulate properly. I miss his fireworks, eating at Hires after priesthood, watching...

thank you all for the wonderful posts--- DAD THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING -- I LOVE YOU SO MUCH--- your son

Raleigh was well known and appreciated for the quality and craftsmanship of his model airplanes, etc. We had many a fun conversation involving his political views, etc. as well. I always enjoyed his passion and enthusiasm. He was also the seminary teacher for my middle son who enjoyed him very much.
I have had some strokes myself and realize how devastating they can be. From what I heard about the severity, Raleigh is in a much better place. My deepest sympathy to all family members.

Bro. Davis was a very nice man, enthusiastic about the gospel, and knowledgeable about so many things. He has gone on to a better world.

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Raleigh. Our thought and prayers go out to you and your family in this time of need.

I hope what you wrote, "His greatest success was in the walls of his own home, as a father and husband, teaching us about our Savior..." can be said of me when it is my time. That is the greatest compliment to a very good, honorable man! Thank you for your example Raleigh.

The first time our children came in contact with Raleigh was him phoning our home asking for Bob then stating he was the sheriff. Our children were caught of guard because they had never connected their dads name(Robert)to Bob and why would a 'Sheriff' be calling. They became acquainted with a teaser and family friend. What a great spirit brother. God bless you all.

I have so many memories of my boyhood friend Raleigh. I grew up with him on Capitol Hill (Cortez St.) We had so much fun together. He was such a fantastic marble player that we gave him the nickname "Knuckles" Davis. We played on the same Little League baseball team and he's the first person I knew who could actually throw a curve ball. I know "cause we played catch alot. He always had a love for aviation and airplanes and we spent literally hours together making different kinds of paper...
