I'm writing on behalf of my mother, Jeanne Saunders Davis, who is a relative of Mr. Griffin, having grown up in Bessemer City. My mom's parents were Myrtle Griffin Saunders and Doris Saunders and her siblings were Joe Melvin Saunders, Roger Saunders, and Hazel "Jimmie" Saunders Kirby. Frankie Griffin works with me and talked often of Mr. Griffin; it was evident from our conversations that he was a GREAT man to all he knew. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Todd & Frankie, So sorry to hear that your Paw Paw has passed. Know that he is in the presence of our Lord & Savior. May the wonderful memories you have of him live on forever in your hearts and comfort you in your time of sorrow. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I only met Mr. Griffin twice but I felt like I knew him from my daughter, Frankie and son-in-law Todd. They loved him a lot I know he was a good man and great grandfather. He will certainly be missed by his family. My sympathy to each family member.
