I'm writing on behalf of my mother, Jeanne Saunders Davis, who is a relative of Mr. Griffin, having grown up in Bessemer City. My mom's parents were Myrtle Griffin Saunders and Doris Saunders and her siblings were Joe Melvin Saunders, Roger Saunders, and Hazel "Jimmie" Saunders Kirby. She would very much like to be in touch with Mr. Griffin's siblings but does not know where to write. If anyone would like to be in touch with her, please write to Jeanne Davis at 309 Maegeo Dr., Lexington, NC 27292. We are so sorry for your loss!

To the Griffin Family,

Frankie Griffin works with me and talked often of Mr. Griffin; it was evident from our conversations that he was a GREAT man to all he knew. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I only met Mr. Griffin twice but I felt like I knew him from my daughter, Frankie and son-in-law Todd. They loved him a lot I know he was a good man and great grandfather. He will certainly be missed by his family. My sympathy to each family member.
