Not sure what to say?

Ralph was a sturdy, upright man who hid from nothing, so had nothing to hide. He found his work and he did it.

We are so late in expressing condolences as I have just learned via an unrelated internet search of Dr. Hoffman's passing.

Our son participated in Dr. Hoffman's RTMS study and received tremendous help from it. Although the voices did return, the brief respite helped our son gain some control over the symptom and was able to return to school and complete his Bachelor and Masters degrees.

Our family is shocked and deeply saddened. We will always remember Dr. Hoffman with...

I have to say that I am shocked and saddened to hear the Doctor Ralph Hoffman has passed away. I had the opportunity to speak to him over the phone and via e-mail several time about the research that he was doing with patients with Schizophrenia. I have to say that this man really did give me hope that one day those that suffer from Schizophrenia will be treat with out having to take medication. To the rest of the Hoffman family my condolences go out to all of you.

Rest in Peace...

Dear Mary Ann and family,
I learned tonight from Arnold Wilson, an old friend from YPI days, about Ralph's death. Mary Ann, I am so deeply saddened by this terrible news, and my heart goes out to you and Lily and Lucas. I wish I had known so that I could have come to the service, but I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Ralph had such bouancy and generosity of spirit, such deep kindness and compassion for severely disturbed patients and such a capacity to care...

Dear Mary Ann and family - I am so sad to hear of Ralph's passing. In our brief interactions, his warmth of spirit was evident. His humor and kindness live on; we see it shining through every time we see Lucas. With our deepest condolences, Laura and Trent

I am so saddened by this news. I only met Ralph once when he was attending a conference in SF with his wife, my cousin, Mary. I was so taken by how easy he was to be with and to talk to and forever thankful that my cousin had found such a gem to share her life with.

Thank you for being a man of honor, service and humility. I am forever grateful to have crossed your path. Rest in peace sir.

Ralph was a kind and easy going person. He was a dedicated person who always excelled at all aspects of life.
Whether work, friends or family his compassion to help others by the knowledge of his field and true caring is what made this man stand out in the crowd. My wife worked with him years ago at YPI.
He will be sorely missed.
