Not sure what to say?

I met him several times. I remember reading in the paper his $20.00 donation each year at Christmas time.

My family lived next door to the Riddles in Garden Lakes. We played together with the Riddle boys all the time. Kran was my age. We loved hunting arrowheads in the neighborhood among so many happy memories. Great family! So very sad to come across this on FB.

Kran was a truly good guy. I went to school with him for 7 years at Darlington in Rome. He never had an unkind word for anybody. He was soft-spoken...one of the top students in our class of '69. We worked together as editors on our award-winning senior annual which we called the Jabberwok. He was kind enough to say that I was the best writer in our class and should be the one to write the copy about our Jabberwok staff. I have not seen Kran in about 50 years, but remember him fondly and...

I knew Karan professionally and was so saddened when I learned of this sad loss. He was kind and intelligent. He was a real gentleman. I won´t forget his smile.

Jody- Jon and I are not in town and we´re so sad to hear of Karan´s passing. You and your family are in our prayers for comfort and strength. Mary Sprague

We are so sorry to hear of Krann´s passing. We are thinking of you all.

We had the privilege of hosting Kran and Jody at our home in Maine last summer. Even though Kran was already going through some medical and cognitive difficulties, he was Jody's and mine (Barbara's) hero - he rescued us when we were lost in the hike up to the top of Mount Battie in Camden, he led the way back to civilization. What a great, fun, time we had that day!

Kran and I found a quite moment together at Chelsea´s wedding reception and he offered his condolences on the loss of my wife. We also spoke briefly about her passing as she was so young. I was so moved by his concern that it will forever be a memory of what a kind and compassionate man that Kran was.

Our condolences to the family of Kran Riddle. Truly a nice guy who left this world too soon. May his memory be a blessing. Rest in peace Kran.
