Not sure what to say?

Ralph worked for me {Ken Alexander} at Sears. We played tennis together and were close for a long time but lost touch over the years. He was a talented special guy and I am sorry I did not know until today of his passing. I am extremely saddened about his death.

He was my father and my hero. Not just because he was my father, but because he was actually my hero.

Melanie,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on this sad occasion. Know that your husband is still with you and when you look into your kids eyes, a part of him will be looking back.

Ralph was a friend and colleague at Ranal (the company he last worked for) before he passed away. For all of us who knew Ralph in Ranal (in Michigan, Montreal and Bangalore) met him or interacted with him, his energy and enthusiasm was unmistakably captivating. His stint with us was brief but the memory of him will remain with all of us for long.

Ralph Springer was my brother, my mentor, my guide, and my friend. He was a great person, a hero to many, a wonderful human being. He also helped me learn how to read. Throughout his life, Ralph provided countless good examples of how a person should think, speak, and behave. He had a wonderful...

I supported Ralph at IBM... he was a pleasure to work with... I'm truly sorry for your loss....

I enjoyed the opportunity to work with Ralph over the last few years. The thoughts and prayers of my family are with yours.

There's a misconception nice guys finish last. That certainly wasn't the case our senior year in high school. Ralph provided a great deal of excitement on the basketball court and helped Sam Houston reach a winning season unlike anything we had known before. In reading some of the comments posted here, it's obvious that what we saw in him in high school, others saw throughout his life. He was genuinely a nice guy, a stand-up kinda guy, a guy willing to work hard at whatever he set his mind...

Ralph was a good friend from elementary school through high school. I'll always remember Ralph's sense of humor and wit. I remember a portrait he did of our principal at Berry Elementary School. Ralph was an inspiration to me through art, laughter and friendship. Ralph's family and friends are in my prayers.
