To the Vitale Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. V was such an amazing teacher, coach and person. One of the most generous teachers. He had more impact on my personal development than possibly any other teacher. They just don't make them like that anymore. Thank you for sharing him with us so many years ago.

Rest In Peace Mr. V . What a wonderful man, teacher and coach. He will forever be remembered for his larger than life personality and presence At Old Greenwich Elementary School. To his family ... how proud you must be of this man that made such a difference in the lives of so many kids. Thinking of you all.

I had the pleasure of having Ralph be my mentor as I was seeking the "best"advice and direction as my physical education career was beginning to take shape. He was so talented and giving as not just a great physical educator, but also as an awesome person. He will be missed big time by this "old" school , now retired physical educator. Rest in peace big guy.

I was stationed in Berlin with Ralph in 1966. He was a great guy and good friend. My condolences to his family. Rest in Peace.
