Ramona Williamson Obituary

Remona "Irene" (Pabst) Williamson was born May 6th, 1939 in Junction, Texas to Raymond Ray Pabst and Roberta "Birdie" Mae (Talley) Pabst. She had four brothers and one sister whom she loved with all her heart. Jack Ray Pabst, Virgie Mae (Pabst) Tweedle, Charles Burnice "Buck" Pabst, James Clayton Pabst, and Nolen Ray Pabst.

She left this world on May 9th, 2022, at the age of 83. She was placed in the loving arms of the Lord and forever healed.

Her parents instilled many values and taught her many things, but the things that meant the most to her were, how to show love and compassion, the importance of family and that you must work hard. These all stuck with her throughout her entire life.

She was not afraid of hard work and worked a variety of jobs over the years. She picked cotton, waited tables, picked and sorted apples, managed a service station, owned a lawn care company, managed a time share resort, ran a hunting lodge and was a caregiver. No matter what job she was doing, she gave 110%.

She was an amazing cook, just ask anyone who ate her food. Everything was homemade and "from scratch" (as her grandson Kyle would call it) She put love into every meal that she ever prepared. Some of her family's favorites were, beans and corn bread, biscuits and gravy, yeast rolls, chicken fried venison steak, peach cobbler and warm pastries.

She had many hobbies, such as sewing cooking, painting, and gardening. In her younger days, she loved to go dancing, camping, hunting, fishing, and searching for gold in mines. She loved anything to do with being outdoors. Most of all she loved spending time with family. Her family meant everything to her, and she showed her love to them every day.

She met the love of her life while she was working as a waitress at Buck's Pantry in Marble Falls, Texas. It was love at first sight (for him) When W.M. saw Irene that day he told her "I'm going marry you someday." She told him "You're crazy." Three months later, she married W.M. Williamson on June 16th, 1957, in Brady, Texas. After marriage, they lived in Louisiana, California, Washington, Alaska, and Oregon. They traveled the world exploring new places and making many memories to look back on. In the summer of 1968, they had one daughter, Monique. She was their pride and joy. After Monique was born, they moved back to Texas so she could be raised around family.

Irene is proceeded in death by her parents, Raymond and Birdie Pabst, Brothers, Buck Pabst, Clayton Pabst, Jack Pabst and Sister Virgie Mae Tweedle.

Irene is survived by her husband W.M. Williamson of Marble Falls, Texas. They were married for 64 years. Her beloved jack russell terrier, Angel. Her brother Nolan Pabst and wife Nan, of Lago Vista, Texas. Her daughter Monique Williamson and husband Randy of Marble Falls, Texas. Her grandson Kyle Williamson and wife Shannon of Bertram, Texas. Her granddaughter Kayla Young and husband Cody of Kingsland, Texas. Her great-grandchildren, Kinley, Kooper, Gunner, Brinley, and Wesley. Numerous niece and nephews.

Irene will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was the backbone of her family.

It's not goodbye, it's until we meet again. We love you.
