Dr. Ramzy Iskandar Nassif

My father-in-law, Dr. Ramzy Nassif accepted me into his family 25 years ago as one of his own daughters, sharing with me every opportunity for travel, education, culture & the arts. By so doing he broadened my mind & my heart & influenced me in the most positive ways. His kind & gentle nature, sense of humor & compassion for all people will be missed by each of us who knew him. With the loss of Dr. Ramzi Nassif, we lost another piece of "Ras Beirut". As a medical student, Dr. Nassif taught me how to perform a good ENT exam, and how to use the otoscope to avoid injury to the uncooperative child.

As a pediatrician, I knew him as a competent surgeon, an excellent teacher and a caring physician. He was kind and treated everyone with respect. He was a real gentleman.

Ramzy "Jiddo" Nassif was a loved husband, father and grandfather. He was always full of joy and wanted everyone to be happy. Though his body is no longer with us his spirit and soul is. I say that it is not the body that makes the person it is the heart and spirit that makes the person. He will always be with us and we will never forget him.
