A death in our neighborhood's family.
Randy's laugh has left us far too soon. (And if you heard that laugh, you couldn't help but laugh as well.) This man, who survived Katrina in his house and who checked all our houses for damage the next morning is the definition of the New Orleans neighbor. He had an opinion on everything and did not suffer fools lightly. I will miss him every day.

I will miss this wonderful man, my neighbor and friend. His wicked sense of humor, incredible green thumb, knowledge of literature, philosophy,history - you name it- made every conversation a gift. Our neighborhood will be very empty without him and his constant companions Chico and Jackson. Much love to Janet, Edgar, and the kids.

I am so sorry for your loss. I so enjoyed Randy and I's Facebook friendship. It was nice getting reacquainted with my cousin after many years. I will miss his great sense of humor. He made me laugh often.
