I met Randy back in the early 90's at the Summit program at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. I really felt I met a kindred spirit in him and we spent much of our free time drawing and developing new comic book characters. I still have all of the drawings he gave me over those two weeks and over the course of our correspondence following. I'm truly saddened to learn of his passing. I was right next to Randy when he died. This event has traumatized me for years.. still does.. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. It was a terrible tragedy... I mean I was literally 3 feet from him.
