Not sure what to say?

I grew up with Ray and Jay and saw both of them on occasion through the years. I was shocked to hear of Ray's untimely passing only two weeks after I last spoke to Ray, having an opportunity to visit with Ray, Sandy and Jay for about half an hour. One of my best memories was how protective Ray was of my romance with my girlfriend, Claudia, now my wife of 55 years. He would look after my interest in Claudia while he was attending TWC with Claudia as I was then attending UT Arlington. Any...

Ray hired me as a first year teacher. He took me to room 14 and said, "Teach them something." He would stop by from time to time, offering advice and encouragement. He insisted I get my masters degree and arranged my schedule so I could leave 7th period and drive to the university. He encouraged me to talk to the new speech path he had just hired. I viewed Ray with great respect...

Sandy, Alison and Marisa...such a precious educator and human your husband and father was to all. Thankful for his life...and all of those he touched through education. May you feel a peace and comfort only the Lord can provide during today and all the days ahead! Love always~Tobi Rutherford Laing

Mr. Thompson was such a kind and caring man. He was a great principal and neighbor. He will truly be missed. Praying for peace for his family.

Mr. T was the best of the best. He not only encouraged the students at N Richland Middle, he encouraged his staff as well. I was very blessed to work with him as the school secretary. Praying for his sweet family.
