I just found out about the passing of your father and grandfather Ray. I served with Ray in Viet Nam on team RT Ohio. Your father was a wonderful person and great friend; I will miss him tremendously.

I first met Ray when Ollie Hartwig and I picked him to be on our recon team, RT Ohio. We didn’t know anything about him but he looked like a good guy and was about the same size as us and that was important in case you had to carry him out...

When they were in San Jose it was so much fun to go over to the ball field
and see Ray play. Just a great ball player and so quick! Enjoying and celebrating New Years Eve festivities at our home on Hustedso much fun and joy! Ray was such a special gentlemen and a true honor to be able to call him friend. God’s speed Ray, you will be missed by so many!...
