Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. He was always a favorite of mine, Also, dear friend of my father, James Cohrs. I remember boating with the Benson family, so much fun. sending hugs and love. Heidi Cohrs Collins

I knew Ray since the early 1970's when I was 9 years old. To me, he was truly a positive example of a real man with strength of mind, body, character, soul, and faith; love of family and friends, a genuine heart for people; a generous and encouraging spirit. Great business acumen. A true gentleman. He was a man who made a very positive and long lasting impression on me. I will always be grateful to him for this. May God bless all of you .

I had the pleasure to meet and talk to Mr. Benson over the past couple years at WSC. I was so impressed by his conversations and his intelligence. May he rest in the Glory of God. A true gentleman.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Mr Ray Benson. We shared an enjoyable hobby, one that he shared with many other persons who looked up to him. He was always encouraging and took interest in me and my collection, however small that it was compared to his. The pictures show a large and very handsome family that he was surely very proud of. He will be greatly missed.

May the Spirit abide with each of you at this time of loss of such dynamic father and husband that at age 94, it seems a surprise that God would call him home. What a rich full life and wonderful family. Blessings and peace.

A public servant in the truest sense of public service. A gentleman. A kind man. I was blessed to know Ray while working at the DuPage Water Commission from 1988 to 2004.

Dear June and Family. I am your neighbor at Wyndemere and a current thirty-five year member of the Wheaton Sports Center, where many times, I enjoyed the company of sitting with Raymond and your son. I and the residents of Wyndemere join together to celebrate Raymonds long productive life. Cordially, Paul Holbrook

A true gentleman. Sometimes underappreciated. Always genuine. Dedicated public service, in the truest sense of public service.

I was blessed to have known him at the DuPage Water Commission.
