This summer Ray and I became close friends, enjoying lots of music and meals together. Viva Cilantro's Ray! Your good company will be sorely missed. The first new brother I've found in many years. I hope Evan - who came with Ray to my house in Boulder Creek - will contact me.

I am sorry sorry to here that Ray Ray had passed. My heart goes out to his family and to Carol. He was a kind, sweet and wonderful man. It is hard to lose such a good soul from this world . He will definitely be missed by all.

So very shocked and saddened by the passing of brother Ray. We spent so many, many days surfing together, and musing about and deeply enjoying life. His laugh and smile were contagious, and his warmth, kindness, and brotherhood will never be forgotten. Ray was one of the highlights of my life in those days, and I will never forget him.
