Not sure what to say?

Uncle Ray will be sadly missed. I can remember my first trip to the restaurant as a young girl just as clearly as my last trip there when I was grown. I had lobster there for the very first time ever. I remember Uncle Ray coming to the table and asking me if I was going to do it the hard way or take the easy option of having the meat removed for me and place in a crock... just for the record I took the easy route. I will forever remember driving downtown and seeing the big red lobster...

My father entered the service with Mr. Dyer during WWII, and was always wondering about his well being. So very sorry for your loss,my Father will be sorry to hear about his passing. Respectfully submitted by Marvin Dunseth son of Russell Dunseth, Army Air Force, Word War II.

We are very sorry to hear about Ray, we are out of town and our son emailed us. Ray and Lucille were such nice people. We really enjoyed them. Sincerely, Myrna and Dan Bosch.
PS.. My dad had lunch at Dyers 2 0r 3 times a week, in the 40's and 50's.

Dear Dyer Family,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I was a regular customer at Dyer's Chop House for many years. I worked upstairs at Patricia Stevens and considered Ray and Joe as friends. (I was friends with the waitresses until I crossed the picket line to help serve customers during a strike.) When I return to Toledo to visit relatives, I still miss not being able to dine at Dyer's Chop House.

Ray and Nancy,
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I am glad you were able to enjoy many years with him. I remember being able to go to the Chop House once with Dennis. It was a special dinner! My thoughts are with you and the boys.

Ray,

All of us at Habitec Security wish to offer our sympathy at this time of your loss. Please let us know if there is anything we can do and that our thoughts are with you and your family.

Your Habitec Family.

Although I have not lived in Toledo for over 45 years, my brother and I still talk about dining at Dyer's Chop House as it was our parents' favorite restaurant. Sincere sympathy to all of the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
